Inductive Loop
Inductive
loop systems are a method of delivering audio from background music systems
and public address systems to the hearing impaired. They are often also
used where there may be difficulties communicating because of distance
or other restrictions, for example, for where a bank employee wishes to
communicate with a client from behind a glass shield, or perhaps in a
church, train station or courthouse where the speaker is some distance
away.
A
second application of inductive loop is for providing critical alerts
from devices such as smoke alarms, burglar alarms & fire alarms. In
these situations an inductive loop system could well prove to be a life-saving
facility.
